The Heart Behind Casa Lombardo
Our story with San Miguel de Allende began in the 1980s, when a family visit introduced us to the city’s historic charm and unmistakable character. It was the beginning of a connection that would continue for generations.
In 1997, we returned with our four children for two weeks in July. That summer became the start of a tradition, bringing us back to San Miguel for summers, New Year’s celebrations and countless special moments together.
As our family has grown, so has the tradition. Today, we have the joy of sharing San Miguel with our grandchildren and watching a new generation experience a place that has meant so much to us for decades.
Casa Lombardo grew from that love for San Miguel and our desire to have a place where everyone could come together. More than simply a home, it is a place for long meals, time together and the kind of memories that have kept us returning year after year.
What’s in a Name?
Casa Lombardo takes its name from a family legacy. Lombardo is the maiden name passed down from the parents who first shared a love for San Miguel, making the home a tribute to them and to the memories that started it all.
